Laser hair removal is a safe, gentle and effective

Laser hair removal is a safe, gentle and effective

Laser hair removal works by destroying the hair follicle and bulb using intense light. The pigment (melanin) contained in the hair absorbs the light and is destroyed. Laser works on the principle of selective photothermolysis. The laser light is selectively absorbed in the melanin in the hair shaft, whilst passing harmlessly through the surrounding tissue.

Laser can be used as a medical device since it can be exactly tuned according to each patient's type of skin, guaranteeing an effective treatment. Observance of instructions and precautions are essential for safe treatment. Laser hair removal works by allowing melanin in the hair follicle to absorb laser heat. Melanin, responsible for pigment, surrounds the part of the follicle responsible for re-growth. Lasers are fast becoming a widely used tool, as a complement to electrolysis . For quick and permanent hair reduction, laser technology is safe, effective, and easily performed.

Laser hair removal methods are most successful on people with light skin and dark hair. People with dark skin have extra pigmentation in their skin. Laser hair removal works best in those with dark hairs on lighter skin, however newer technologies and newer lasers and light sources have made the procedure safe and effective in those with darker skin and those individuals of color. Laser hair removal, although much less expensive than electrolysis, requires multiple treatments, and generally costs over $1000 in total for most anatomic areas.

Laser hair removal is a safe, gentle and effective way to remove unwanted hair. Hair removal methods such as shaving, waxing, tweezing and depilatories can only provide temporary relief; and while electrolysis can provide permanent hair removal, it can be very painful, costly and time consuming. Laser hair removal is a quick and relatively painless way to get rid of unwanted hair. Anywhere from 3 to 8 easy treatments can provide permanent reduction of unwanted hair and can leave the skin soft and smooth. Lasers used for hair removal are absorbed by Melanin. Melanin is what gives our hair and skin its colour.

Laser hair removal has changed all this. It is a quick and relatively painless procedure that can provide permanent hair reduction almost anywhere! Laser hair removal will work for these larger areas but the consumer may need electrolysis to finish the job for scattered re-growth. Laser hair removal is a quick and relatively painless way to get rid of unwanted hair. This procedure is more effective than any other hair removal option, including Electrolysis.

Laser facial hair removal is the option preferred by many people around the world for removing unwanted hairs in the face. Other methods of facial hair removal such as shaving, plucking and using depilatory creams can be irritating and messy. Laser and electrolysis provide longer term solution to hair removal. Laser hair removal is currently the number one laser treatment performed in the United States. Patients can trust that the laser hair removal procedure is a safe, fast and effective way to permanently reduce any and all unwanted hair.

Laser beam is attracted to the color, not to the hair! Now if you do not have color in your hair, meaning that you hair is Blond, White, Gray or Light Red, laser will not be suitable for you.
